A customer in Côte d'Ivoire received and installed a 250kVA all-copper transformer
Recently, a customer in Côte d'Ivoire sent photos of the received and installed transformer from TSTY. The customer was very satisfied with the purchase and TSTY's service.
Before purchasing, the customer compared prices from European brands and Indian products. European brands had long lead times (usually 4-6 months) and were expensive; Indian products were competitively priced, but the customer had a previous unpleasant experience—an Indian-made transformer developed oil leakage problems after less than two years of operation.
The customer explained their final choice to TSTY simply: "For the same configuration, the price is about 35% lower than European brands, and the delivery time is only 45 days. Moreover, you provided complete factory test reports and IEC standard compliance declarations—these documents are required for acceptance by the Côte d'Ivoire Electricity Company (CI-ENERGIES)."

Why purchase the 250kVA all-copper transformer?
250kVA is a very common capacity node in small and medium-sized power distribution scenarios—it can cover the power load of small factories upstream and is compatible with the power needs of commercial buildings and residential communities downstream. The 11kV/0.415kV voltage combination is a standard configuration in the Ivorian power distribution network: the 11kV medium-voltage main line is drawn from the substation, stepped down to 0.415kV (three-phase four-wire system, 415V line voltage/240V phase voltage) by a distribution transformer, and supplied to end users.
The customer's needs were clear: a 250kVA, 11kV/0.415kV, all-copper winding, oil-immersed distribution transformer to replace aging equipment that had been in service for many years in an industrial and commercial park.

From Factory to Delivery: The Entire Process
From the Chinese factory to the Port of Abidjan in Ivory Coast, and then to the customer's site, the 250kVA transformer underwent a standard but not simple journey:
Factory Inspection: Before leaving the factory, each transformer must pass all tests conducted by the CNAS national-level testing center—no-load loss, load loss, power frequency withstand voltage, lightning impulse, and temperature rise tests—ensuring 100% compliance before release.
Shipping Packaging: Vacuum-sealed aluminum foil moisture-proof packaging + steel frame fixation, with a temperature and humidity recorder placed inside the container for continuous monitoring.
Customs Clearance Assistance: All necessary documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and certificates of conformity (COC), are prepared in advance to ensure efficient customs clearance at the Port of Abidjan.
After the equipment arrives at the customer's warehouse, the customer's on-site technicians conduct an unpacking inspection – the appearance is intact, the oil level is normal, and all accessories are complete. Subsequent installation will be completed by the customer, with TSTY providing remote technical guidance and support.
