TSTY to Showcase at Power & Energy Kenya 2026

July 17, 2026

The 13th Power & Energy Kenya exhibition is set to take place from July 29 to 31, 2026, at the Carnivore Exhibition Centre in Nairobi. As the largest and most influential event for the power and energy sector in East Africa, the exhibition will bring together over 275 exhibitors from 27 countries, showcasing more than 10,000 products and attracting an estimated 5,800 professional visitors. TSTY will present its full range of power transformers and integrated solutions at Booth 339, engaging in in-depth discussions with industry decision-makers, buyers, engineering firms, and distributors from across East and Central Africa.

Over Two Decades of Dedication to the East African Market

TSTY has a long-standing history in the East African market. In recent years, TSTY engineers have frequently traveled to countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda to oversee on-site installations of package substations and conduct client follow-ups. In Kenya, the company has supplied equipment—including 2,000 kVA oil-immersed transformers—to local factories and recently completed the production and shipment of a 1,250 kVA transformer and Ring Main Unit (RMU) for a Kenyan client. TSTY’s equipment has also been successfully deployed in diverse applications, ranging from textile industrial parks to photovoltaic (PV) energy storage projects. Building on this solid track record, TSTY has decided to participate in the exhibition with an enhanced presence, translating years of experience serving the East African market into face-to-face technical exchanges and solution demonstrations.

TSTY's Power Equipment Solutions

At the exhibition, TSTY will highlight a series of power equipment solutions tailored to the specific needs of the East African market:

Oil-immersed distribution transformers: Voltage ratings compatible with common East African distribution network standards (11 kV, 15 kV, 33 kV) as well as main transmission voltages (66 kV, 132 kV, 220 kV).

Dry-type transformers: Suitable for locations with stringent fire safety and operational safety requirements, such as commercial complexes, hospitals, and data centers. Box-type Substations (Compact Substations): Featuring an integrated design and factory pre-assembly for rapid on-site installation, these units are particularly well-suited for rural grid upgrades and off-grid power supply projects in Kenya.

Ring Main Units (RMU) and Switchgear: Designed to complement transformers, providing comprehensive power distribution solutions.

New Energy Box-type Substations: TSTY’s showcased new energy substations cover three major series—European, American, and Chinese standards—and support voltage levels ranging from 10kV to 35kV. These products utilize modular designs and are factory pre-assembled.

C&I (Commercial & Industrial) Energy Storage Systems: Offerings include 1000kWh liquid-cooled systems and air-cooled systems (215kWh/200kWh/100kWh). These systems support various operating modes, such as peak-valley arbitrage, off-grid backup power, and solar-plus-storage integration.

TSTY Electric Co., Ltd.

To address the specific operating conditions of the East African market—such as high temperatures, high altitudes, and significant grid voltage fluctuations—TSTY has incorporated specialized technologies into its product designs. These include enhanced heat dissipation structures, wide-range voltage regulation, and dust/corrosion protection, ensuring long-term, stable operation in tropical environments.

Leveraging the Exhibition to Deepen Cooperation in East Africa

Power & Energy Kenya is the only specialized exhibition dedicated to the power and energy sector in East Africa. Professional attendees hail from countries including Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Uganda, Somalia, Mozambique, and the Congo, representing importers, wholesalers, engineering consultancies, power contractors, and government agencies. High-level industry forums, such as the East Africa Energy Investment Summit, are held concurrently. For power equipment enterprises aiming to deepen their presence in the African market, this event serves as an excellent platform to establish direct connections with key regional buyers and gain insights into the latest projects.

TSTY Electric cordially invites partners, industry peers, and both new and existing customers to visit Booth 339 to explore cooperation opportunities arising from the upgrading of East Africa's power infrastructure. Our technical team will be on-site to provide one-on-one consultations and discuss customized solutions tailored to specific project requirements. Whether you are planning a grid upgrade project or seeking a reliable supplier of power distribution equipment, TSTY looks forward to meeting you in person.
