A 5.5MW photovoltaic power station in Colombia is scheduled to be connected to the grid in 2026. Located in a highland area with an average altitude of 2,800 meters, the project boasts abundant sunshine resources and an average annual radiation of 1,800 kWh/m². It is a key project of the Colombian government's efforts to promote renewable energy transition.
The customer selected five 1.1MVA modular substation solutions from TSTY. These devices convert the 800V DC power generated by the photovoltaic array into 13,800V via inverters for connection to the local grid. This collaboration marks a significant breakthrough for TSTY in the South American new energy market.

Customized Solutions
To address the unique plateau environment, the TSTY R&D team has made several improvements to the standard product:
1. Adopting high-altitude insulation materials, the electrical clearance has been increased by 15%
2. Equipped with a plateau-grade heat dissipation system, the temperature rise is controlled within 65K at rated capacity
3. The enclosure protection level has been increased to IP54, and the internal components are IP65
