TSTY Team Travels Overseas To Install And Visit

July 28, 2025

In the past two months, TSTY engineers traveled to Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and other countries to install box-type substations and visit customers. TSTY's power engineers carried tool boxes and shuttled under the scorching sun and heavy rain. Their mission is clear: to let Chinese-made transformers and box-type substations take root in Africa and light up the hope of stable production for African customers.

Compact substation installation journey

At the first stop, TSTY's power engineers went to a factory in Ethiopia to install and debug compact substations for customers. Since TSTY's box-type substations are prefabricated, all equipment has been assembled and tested in the factory. It can be used after being transported to the customer's factory in Ethiopia and connected to the cable. Unlike traditional substations, which require digging foundations and building walls. Therefore, our engineers only took more than ten days to install it.

A trip to visit customers in Africa

After installing the box-type substation in Ethiopia, our salesperson Lee and engineers visited customers in neighboring African countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya, and Uganda. During the visit, Lee carefully asked the customer about the problems and questions in the operation of the transformer. Our engineers also carefully checked the operation of the customer's transformer and answered the questions raised by the customer on site. This visit to Africa not only enhanced the relationship between TSTY and African customers, but also carried out subsequent localized improvements (lightning protection upgrades, voltage stabilization) for the problems in actual operation.
